Clinical Research Center

BRI’s Clinical Research Center (CRC) is a four-bed unit that provides specialized infrastructure for clinical research. The CRC accommodates studies ranging from small pilot projects to phase 1, 2 and 3 clinical trials funded by the National Institutes of Health, industry, and private foundations.

The multidisciplinary team includes registered nurses, research staff, and clinicians with expertise in study start-up, protocol implementation, administration of investigational and standard therapies, response to adverse events, and adherence to regulatory requirements. Staff work with both adult and pediatric research participants and maintain role-appropriate licenses and certifications, including Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
