Ami received a BS degree in Biology from Xiamen University of China in 1982, and a MS in Molecular Biology from UCLA in 1989. She worked in the labs of Dr. Donald Nierlich, Dr. Winston Salser, and Dr. Richard Gatti at UCLA, and Dr. Lee Hood at CalTech. Ami came to BRI in 1991 and worked with Dr. Patrick Concannon and in the Genotyping Core Lab. Ami loves science and is enthusiastic about her work. Besides science, she loves good food and travel to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
