Sheila Scheiding

Project Manager, Center for Interventional Immunology

Sheila joined BRI in 2016 and has spent nearly a decade supporting clinical and translational research through a variety of scientific and operational roles. Beginning in the Clinical Core with human sample processing and management, she later joined the Human Immunophenotyping Core, where she supported complex clinical studies through high-parameter immunophenotyping using flow and mass cytometry.

Over the years, Sheila developed a reputation for strong organization, adaptability and a talent for navigating the logistical challenges that accompany human research. In 2024, she joined the Center for Interventional Immunology as a project manager, where she supports clinical and translational research through project coordination, sample management and analysis support. She enjoys bringing people, data and science together to advance impactful research.

Originally from Iowa, Sheila moved to Washington in 2012 and earned her B.S. in biology from the University of Washington in 2015. Outside of work, she enjoys crafting, gardening and spending time with friends.
