Areas of expertise: Mass Cytometry (CyTOF), Multi-color Flow Cytometry, Project Planning, Process Optimization, Instrument Operation and Maintenance (CyTOF and FACS)
Anna received a BS in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from the University of Washington in 2017, and soon after joined the Human Immunophenotyping Core at BRI. Anna believes that meaningful change starts with good science, and that good science starts with good data. To that end, she is comitted to the optimization and standardization of procedures, instruments, and reagents in order to produce data that is robust, interpretable, and reproducible. The projects Anna works on range from individually tailored assays for scientific collaborators, to large scale clinical trials with hundreds of longitudinal samples in a variety of disease contexts. Anna enjoys continually improving on existing processes, piloting new processes, and sharing best practices with the scientific community. Outside of work, Anna enjoys frequenting Seatte’s lakes and parks, camping, biking, and doting on her cat.
